Afterwards, step out and explore the Katra is one of India’s top pilgrim destinations. One can reach the shrine from Katra, which serves as a base camp for the pilgrims. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Enjoy a pleasurable overnight stay at the hotel.
After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, proceed for excursion to Shivkhori temple which is around 70 kms and takes 3 hrs each way to reach. Shivkhori means the cave of Lord Shiva. Along the way to Shivkhori. While driving to the holy place you will also visit two holy spots enroute. AgharJitto (6 kms from Katra) which is the shrine of revolutionary Baba Jitto. Next visit the shrine of NauDeviyan (10 kms from Katra). On reaching Shivkhori you will be dropped at the starting point of the yatra to the Shivling which is around 4 kms steep walk. The yatra and darshan can take anytime between 1.5 to 3 hours. After darshan return back to the starting point and transferred back to the hotel. Enjoy your dinner, retire to the room and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

In olden times a pond existed in the meadows and the king’s princess often used to have her bath there. On reaching Patnitop, Proceed for local sightseeing which includes Nag Temple and excursion to Nathatop and Sanasar.
